Ceiling Tiles Continued

This is an update on the progress Art 2 students are making on their ceiling tiles.  Most of the students are finished or an nearing completion on their tiles.  Once the tiles are completed, I return them to the ceiling in the art room.  The response from other teachers and our administration has been terrific.  In fact, we have been given the green light to begin adopting ceiling tiles in the hall ways and in other classrooms.  Other themes or topics that could be used in the creation of future tiles would include: Quotes and portraits of the person the quote is associated with, positive power words like "respect", where each tile gets one letter and multiple tiles spell out the power word, and places / locations of noteworthiness such as the coliseum in Rome Italy, the Sagrada Familia in Barcelona Spain, or the Capital in Washington DC, depending on which class they will be located in, such as History, Government or Foreign Language.
