Art 1 begins Andy warhol inspired Pop Art paintings

This week, Art 1 began studying the Pop Art movement and different artists associated with it.  Students were asked to create a Warhol inspired artwork using a current "Pop" icon, celebrity or symbol.  Students will recreate that image in each of the 4 squares in their paintings and then select 3 or 4 colors that will enhance their painting.  Some students have selected iconic personalities, others selected well known cartoons and others selected current symbols or icons from fashion, skateboarding or music.

Improvised light table

I really need to apply what I've seen on Pinterest and make another light table from a clear tote and christmas lights.
