Onomatopoeia Art with 8th Grade

This week, 8th grade students are studying Onomatopoeia.  We explored campy comic books and discussed the work of Pop Art artists like Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol.  Here is a sample of what you'll see soon.
Onomatopoeia: noun \ˌä-nə-ˌmä-tə-ˈpē-ə, -ˌma-\ : the creation of words that imitate natural sounds.
