During the week of Valentines Day, elementary art classes had the opportunity to create heart inspired artworks for someone they love. Students in different classes utilize a variety of art related elements or principles as well as multiple art mediums (materials). Here are a couple of class examples:
In addition to positive and negative space and stippling techniques, students worked on cutting out shapes and creating unique designs. Some of those designs were owls with heart felt messages written on the back. "Owl always Love you." Awe, how cute.
