The Climax Springs art club has added one more fundraiser / community event to what it already does. This year we started the "Blossom Ball". In keeping with the success of the "Pumpkin Ball" in the fall which is a father / daughter dance, the art club decided that each spring we should host a mother / son dance. Along with the dance, the art club collects canned food and non perishable food items for the local food pantry.
The "Blossom Ball" started out with a few roadblocks but the art club members rallied and got the job done! I am so proud of each one of them for pulling together and chipping in and making it a positive night for the mothers and sons in attendance. We even had a surprise visit by some Imperial Storm Troopers. Wow, who knew the empire had their eye on this sector?
