2nd Grade Clay

Second grade students are working with clay to create slab trivets using their hand as inspiration.  Students will roll out a slab and then texture that slab using anything from yarn to caps off of commercial products like deodorant and hairspray.  Once their slabs are textured, students will trace their hand, cut it out and add feet to the bottom of their trivets.
