8th Grade Complementary Color Portraits

Students in the 8th grade studied the color wheel and created complementary color portraits.  Students selected their colors, created their tints and shades and sketched out their portraits.  Once sketched, began the objective or painting the portrait.
Students were challenged with multiple objective such as sketching a portrait, using the color wheel being mindful of the complementary colors, and mixing tints and shades of their complementary colors.
